Happy 4th & WW Review
Happy Fourth Of July! I am so glad that I could share this day with family and friends to celebrate the our country and freedom. We started off the morning with a neighborhood/ward breakfast at our bishop’s (Priesthood Leader’s) home. It was early in the morning, but I couldn’t say no to bacon, eggs, pancakes, and doughnuts now could I? We went home when it was over, relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company. Then, since it is also my Abuela’s birthday today, we went and visited her. Afterwards, we went shopping for groceries, came home, and ate a delicious 4th of July feast, provided by my lovely mother who also happens to be an excellent cook. As our final activity we finally went and saw the move Wonder Woman, which I have been dying to see for ages. I was not disappointed. Below is a review on the film with no spoilers, I promise.
Wonder Woman was absolutely fantastic. It was action packed, but also taught good lessons, for example: Always stand up and fight for right, good, and truth. Wonder Woman is a great super hero who is clever, can fend for herself, and is not afraid to stand up and fight for what she believes. The plot is solid and has some nice twists worked in. I am a bit of a mythology freak and absolutely loved the Greek and Roman mythology in the story. (Forgive me for not being familiar with the Wonder Woman Backstory or Comics.) I am in love with this movie and would watch it again in a heart beat. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
I think I know who I’m being for Halloween this year!
